KNU Take Control of Another Burmese Outpost on Salween River

Joint force of KNU soldiers and Arakanese rebel have captured a Burmese military outpost on in Papun District, Karen State on Salween river border with Thailand on Friday, according to Arakan National Council. 

The joint force seized ammunition left by the Burmese soldiers at the outpost and burned down the military camp after they captured the camp, according to the statement released by the ANC also known as Arakan Army on Friday. 

Some Burmese soldiers escaped from the outpost, seeking help from Thai authorities to move to another military camp, according to the statement.
